If I were to write a list of things that make me smile, like my dear friend Melissa, this would be my whole list right now. I'm so far away from my babies right now and I can't feel them kick but I can definitely tell you they are growing in there. Here are the latest pics. What a sport Nicole is for sending them and being perfectly happy to have me post them. I think she looks amazing, especially considering she is measuring 37 weeks right now (as of 28 1/2 weeks). She was built for carrying twins. Tall, thin, long torso. I would have been square.
28 1/2 Weeks
Her last apt. was Jan 15th, everything looked ideal and we are into bi-weekly apts now until 35 or 36 weeks if she goes past that. I guess my smile list would have another important thing on it. Ultrasounds! I love that they can peek in there and see that everything is going well. We will have those at every apt. from here on out. Dr. Hodges likes to be sure they are growing at the same rate and one twin isn't hogging all the nutrients. We didn't get an ultrasound on the 15th due to confusion at the scheduling desk but we have one on the 28th which is coming up quick. Can't wait!

I love happy lists. :) Glad things are progressing, what an amazing and unique experience you are having. I am so glad you found a surrogate who is so fantastic! What a great sport.
We are soooo excited!! I can't wait for them to get there either! Please let me know about your shower as soon as you know a date so I can mark my calendar! YEAH!!!!
