This isn't a picture from this weekend but it's the whole Ku clan
It's been a fun weekend. Not only where Yi-jau (Tom's brother) and Brenda (his fiance) in town but my Dad also rode his motorcycle over. I really miss all the family that lives out of state so it is really fun to have some around. It is also the first time we have seen Brenda and Yi-jau since they got engaged and we found out about the twins (boy that word still jumps out at me.)
We are so excited for their wedding June 27th and they already have some amazing things planned. The location is in the middle of Portland at Tanner Park in the Pearl district and then the reception is two blocks away on a terrace overlooking the Pear. It is going to be the total urban extravaganza. Their website is amazing, so impressed!!! We are excited to get to see the city with them.
Saturday was my brother-in-law Scott's birthday party. Scott and Fina got a baby-sitter and we all went to Elway's for a real grown-up night out. We had wonderful steaks (or in my case crab legs) and great conversation. We even got crazy and decided to go to a 9:15 movie. Hey, when someone has a baby-sitter you really need to take advantage. We saw Ghost Town which everyone thought was hilarious, except for Tom (who can explain that?). I laughed so hard I was almost crying. The next day was a a little rough getting up. We haven't stayed out after midnight for way too long.

My Dad and I got to go for a little drive into the mountains on Friday to try to see some leafs. The leaf part wasn't so succesfull, we mostly saw pines but we had a great time driving and talking anyway.

The 9:15 movie days...I remember those. Now we ask ourselves "Is this movie babysitter worthy?" It looks like a fun family get together- congrats on everything!
